Lotus PVC Pre-Pack Well Screen
- Manufactured by lotus for use inside (DPT) direct push casing
- Designed for setting small diameter Monitoring Wells, open bore holes or used as liners in larger diameter well applications
- Screens are all Schedule-40 PVC x .010” slot with ASTM (F-480)
- Flush Joint threads & O-Ring Seals
- The Filter Pack of clean, fine grade silica sand is secured to the PVC screen with an overlay of #45 stainless steel mesh that holds the sand securely & uniformly in place.
- Consist of a standard, slotted PVC well screen pipe surrounded by a stainless steel mesh
- Since the sand is packed around the slotted PVC before the well screen is installed, using prepacks guarantees that sand will be located directly around the well screen. This makes well installation quicker and more efficient than traditional methods.
- Have a PVC Sleeve under the clamp at each end which helps keep the PVC centered and the sand more uniform throughout and helps alleviates gaps between the sand & the screen
- The filter pack for more even flow through the slotted screen ensuring optimal results
